IKEA Liljebagge, Sonoff NSPanel Pro Gen2, and Aqara G400
This week in smart home: Seven new IKEA devices on the horizon, a Matter Bridge control panel from Sonoff, and a hands-on review of the Aqara G400 doorbell
This week is all about devices that bridge multiple worlds. An app bug reveals seven new IKEA smart home devices, led by the Liljebagge radiator thermostat. Sonoff turns its NSPanel Pro Gen2 into a wall-mounted controller with a built-in Matter Bridge for Zigbee and Wi-Fi gear. Simon from HomeKitNews puts the Aqara G400 doorbell through its paces. In brief, we cover the new Netatmo Outdoor Camera Original and the Bosch Motion Sensor II with Matter over Thread, and we wrap up with a workflow tip for a smart meeting light.
IKEA Liljebagge: Radiator thermostat and six more devices spotted

An IKEA app bug revealed the upcoming Liljebagge radiator thermostat, which is very likely to use Matter over Thread. Six additional code names also surfaced: Solstal, Brandhake, Sommarplaga, Längdmätt, Lykaste, and Mellangyllen. Specs, pricing, and release dates are still unknown. The interesting takeaway is that IKEA keeps expanding its Matter roadmap consistently, after already announcing the Dubbelkisel cabinet lighting driver in February.
Sonoff NSPanel Pro Gen2: Control panel with Matter Bridge

Sonoff is launching the NSPanel Pro Gen2, a wall-mounted control panel that doubles as a Matter Bridge for Zigbee and eWeLink Wi-Fi devices. Its 3.95-inch display lets you control scenes and devices directly. Two integrated relays with a combined 10 amps switch traditional circuits like lighting or fans without any extra hardware, so the panel works as both a central control point in the hallway and a replacement for a regular light switch. Pre-orders are open, and the first units ship June 15.
Worth Watching: Aqara G400 doorbell review
Simon from HomeKitNews has taken a closer look at the new Aqara G400. The doorbell ships with PoE, 2K resolution, on-device AI detection, and HomeKit Secure Video. The video shows how the setup performs in everyday use and where it pulls ahead of cloud-only doorbells.

Bosch is releasing its first motion sensor with Matter over Thread for €49.95 in the Bosch store. The detection range is 13 meters, the pet filter ignores movement up to 70 cm in height, and the housing is IP55-rated for indoor and outdoor use. Brightness and temperature sensing are built in. The device works either via Zigbee with a Bosch Smart Home Controller or directly via Matter over Thread without a hub, and a switchable orientation light is included.
Tip of the Week: Smart meeting light via calendar

If you work from home, you know the drill: someone walks into the room mid-call because no one can tell whether you are in a meeting. With the calendar integration in Controller for HomeKit Workflows, a colored lamp or LED strip turns red automatically as soon as a calendar event begins, and switches off when the meeting ends. No manual toggling, no forgotten light.
